Code of Conduct

Majority of your questions about Festival conduct will be answered in the Terms & Conditions.

GENERAL FESTIVAL INFO

Your entry pass will also act as your pass out, so please keep it on.

Lost property that's handed in during the Festival will be taken to the Infodesk. After the event, if you realise you've lost something, contact us via the contact page - if we have it, we'll return it to you.

If you smoke, PLEASE use portable ashtrays or the bins provided. Don't throw your butts everywhere. Also, keep to the designated smoking areas - strictly no smoking in the buildings!

Don't show up drunk or out of it as we may we have to tell you to go back home, even if you hold a valid ticket. We have the right to refuse entry.

SAFETY

The Venues all have invested millions of dollars into their function area. There are, however, several areas of the Venue which will be off limits to participants - please stay out of these areas, for your own safety and that of others. Try also to take care when moving about; the buildings and venues we're using are safe, but nonetheless you still need to be watchful, particularly on stairwells, pathways etc.

In the extreme and unlikely circumstance that the Festival Venue may be required to be evacuated or cleared, it's imperative that you follow all instructions from emergency services, police, the fire brigade and/or our security.

FIRST AID

Festivals are fun. Be sensible, and - should you need assistance for yourself or for a friend/family/partner - don't be scared to ask festival staff or St John's Ambulance officers for help. We won't judge you, we only want to help you and make sure you're safe. Also, remember that the St John folk work very hard and do it for free, so please remember that and have respect for what they're doing by not hassling them unnecessarily.
