Animania Festival Weekend Hits Sydney!! Final announcements~

At the time of this post there were only 9 hours left until Animania Festival Weekend hits Sydney!!

This weekend will definitely be a huge one and there's so much to see and do that things may get a little daunting! If you find yourself not sure what's on or how/where to go see/do something, then make sure to ask any of the friendly Animania volunteers who will be able to point you in the right direction! All Animania volunteers can be spotted by the bright green vests they'll be wearing, marking them as staff.

Also on hand to offer directions and uplift spirits (especially with the current weather!) will be Animania's very own Happy Brigade!! Keep an eye out for these happy ladies and gents who'll be wandering around the Festival - surprises in store for sure!

Along with all of the marvelous volunteers, three people you are likely to see a lot of are our Animania Festival MCs. These guys have been the hosts of Animania's events for several years now. Here's more about them!

Mike Morris, or simply "Morris" Morris started out with Animania Festival as a debater on its original "Great Debate" way back in 2004. His talents and dynamic presence on the stage led to his current role of Animania MC on the Main Stages. After 5 minutes with him you'll either feel in awe of his insight and knowledge... or feel like you've been hit by a speeding bus. Don't feed him sugar.

Mike Ip, or simply "Ip" Another Mike in the team, Ip started out with Animania in the Games Team but just had way too much energy that had to be shared with everyone - on the Main Stage! He complements Morris in every way on the stage. If Morris was the ying, Ip would be the yang. Do Not Feed Him Sugar.

Yoshe Foy Yoshe is one of the protagonists of the Animania Insight panels. Unlike her MC counterparts on the Main Stages, Yoshe shows us a calmer side to Animania (just don't feed her sugar). Outside of Animania, she studies the wordspeak and hangs out with ninjas all the time. Yoshe also likes brown paper packages tied up with string. Her favourite keyboard combination is alt+f4. Look out the window it's a fantastic day outside!
