The Great Debate returns to Animania Festival in 2008 to continue on its road of HOT comical debates!

Last year, the great debate made a triumphant return after spending years in greatness, gathering power only to make bring a might force back down to Animania Festival! Mothers were asked to drag their welcome mats in at night. Children told to raise the shields!

... and in 2008? Will the mighty debate rage on?!

2007 Recap

From the beginning of time there have been two ultimate forces: Pirates and Ninjas. These eternal rivals have been fighting for dominance over land and sea since before written documents and even time itself. This year (2007) they bring this fight to Sydney on their own terms.

Two teams will argue to find the true answer to the question of life, the universe and everything:

In a fight to the death who would win: PIRATES or NINJAS?

The only way to know will be to come along and listen to our pirate and ninja experts duke it out in a truly epic battle of wits, twisted logic and hot-blooded discussion!

...2008, TO INFINITY AND BEYOND!

We are but in the future now, so we all know who won last year, NINJAS!! What will come next? Who will come forth to protect the reigning Ninjas? Will they survive?!?!

Two teams will come together to battle the following NEW question that must be answered:

In a supreme battle to save the city of Tokyo, who would win: A Hoard of NINJAS or ... GOJIRA?
