Animania Festival in 2008 will be an event not to be missed!

Fans of anime and manga - young and old - can expect a range of features at the Festival celebrating Japanese popular culture. Learn more about the unique and vibrant fan community in Australia, meet new people and open your eyes to the fun and the quirky!

2008 will also be a year of mega-firsts as we host not just one, but TWO major Cosplay events. Animania Festival will feature its traditional, long-time running Cosplay Competition - a much-loved foundation event of the Festival.

But wait there's more!

Animania Festival is proud to host for the first time the Australian Preliminary Competition for the World Cosplay Summit! The winning Cosplayer team of this Preliminary Competition will head to Nagoya, Japan to compete in this international level Cosplay event in 2009!

And of course there's still more!

No Animania Festival would be complete without it's staple features including Karaoke, all-day Screenings, the Gamer Room, and of course the wacky Main Stage Game Show, Animania Olympia. And also... keep your eyes on the website as there will surely, most definitely be more great features to be announced!!
