Volunteer Programme

Animania Festival has a fantastic core Organising Team that is dedicated to developing the best Festival experience possible in any given year. In addition to this team, the major Animania Festival weekend in Sydney is supported by a group of volunteer floorstaff recruited mid-year and trained specifically for this event.

The Festivals would definitely not be able to run smoothly without its many dedicated volunteers. Thank you to all previous volunteers for all your wonderful support over the years!

Want to be a part of the Animania Volunteer team?

Every year, Animania Festival runs a tailored Volunteer Program for those interested in helping out during the festival period. The program is a great way to meet new people and contribute your effort to creating a fantastic event while also having lots of fun (just check out the photos below from Volunteer Program events! XD).

To ensure the best Festival experience for everyone, both visitor and volunteer alike, a large portion of the Volunteer Program is dedicated to providing training. Individuals selected to join the program are required to attend all training sessions to become an official member of volunteer floor staff.

Animania Festival is a huge event and we would not be able to do it all without you! So if you have a love for Japanese pop culture and a strong desire to lend a helping hand, then why not volunteer?
