Hullo!!!
Just a quick post to let everyone know that pre-registration to the yukata workshops are open! One of the more popular features of the Animania Festival Sydney March, visitors will get the chance to learn how to make their own yukata, or summer kimono. All materials will be provided and at the end of the workshop, you'll have your very own yukata to keep!
This year, the yukata workshop sessions will be split into two skill levels: beginners, and moderate-advanced. So if you're worried that the workshop might be too easy or too hard, no matter what your experience with a sewing machine - we welcome you to come and learn some new skills or maybe brush up on some old ones!
The workshop may also be of particular interest to those of you who are thinking of Cosplaying and making your own costume, but don't know how to sew and would like to be shown some basics - and hey, you'll get to keep the yukata at the end of it too!
