Treat yourself to a little luxury at the Animania Festival Weekend and visit Cafe Luciole, Animania's first Maid Cafe.
Maid-style cafes or cosplay restaurants are increasingly popular in Japan. These unique cafes feature costumed waitstaff, often as maids or butlers, who provide homely service and attention for the customer.
We invite you to be our very special guests at Cafe Luciole and enjoy a break in your busy day with a cup of tea or some delicious cake (make sure to try to Cafe Luciole special!).
Limited seating times and packages will be available so we highly recommend that you visit the Cafe early to book a seating time!

The pre-sale tickets for Animania Festival in Brisbane on October 30th are now available!
What's the benefit of pre-sale tickets? Already having a ticket saves you time getting in the door on the day, and it's cheaper too! What more could you want? For all the details about ticketing at the Brisbane October festival point your web browser at the tickets page! As awesome as pre-sale tickets are they can't be around forever, pre-sale ends on October 1st!

As you may already know, volunteer registrations have officially CLOSED!
We have received TONS of applications and now it is my honourable duty to spend every waking hour reading over each one. Bring on the red bull, caffine and sweets yeah! So when will you know if you've made the cut? You will get a response sometime this week (mid-July); so fingers crossed ><!

The Animania weekend event is fast approaching with less than 3 months to go and the Animania team is completely swamped going through volunteer registrations just flooding through. 2010 is our biggest Animania event yet! - And we need you on board more than ever!

JTB is offering a tour package for visiting Japan and World Cosplay Summit. This is the perfect way folllow Team Australia and cheer them! The package includes transfers and accommodation in Tokyo and Nagoya, a visit of the Ghibli Museum, Akihabara, a maid cafe, the Osu cosplay Parade (which you can join in and cosplay too) and entry to the World Cosplay Championships!
If you mention ANIMANIA when booking, JTB will donate 10% to support following team in 2011. Let us know that you are coming to Japan, and we might even arrange a time for you to meet up with Team Australia, and perhaps a few of the other teams. We are drawing closer to the Animania Festival weekend now only 4 months away in good ol' ATP. Instead of telling you volunteer registration is opening soon, I went just that step further for all of you. And guess what? The volunteer registration is now OPEN!
