Animania Festival is proud to host the World Cosplay Summit Preliminary Competition again in 2011!

The World Cosplay Summit (WCS) is an international level Cosplay competition held annually in Nagoya, Japan, and hosted by TV Aichi. The competition brings together contestants from all over the globe to showcase their prize-winning costumes.

The Preliminary

2011 brings a fresh new year of WCS Auditions. With already 1 teams selected in Adelaide last October, the remaining 3 rounds of auditions will be held at each of the Day Festivals to be held in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane, culminating in the official WCS Preliminary itself at the Animania Festival Weekend in September Sydney. The winning Duo will get the chance to present their costume at the 2012 World Cosplay Summit in Nagoya, Japan, competing against the world's best Cosplayers.
