Animania's largest event - the Animania Festival Weekend - is getting ready to land!
Once again fans of all ages can enjoy screenings, karaoke, art workshops, video games, panels and crazy stage shows at our 2011 Animania Festival Weekend. There will be plenty of interactive mini-games, cosplay games, dance classes, and stallholders to tempt you with plushies, figurines and more! Plus, the yummy Food Fair will be back too.
Fans can also expect to see some fantastic costumes as part of the Animania Festival Cosplay Competition and the 2011/2012 World Cosplay Summit (WCS) Australian Preliminary. The winners of the WCS Preliminary will head to Japan in 2012 to compete in the WCS in Nagoya, Japan!
The Festival Guide will be provided on the day at the Festival and is available for viewing online also.
Where is it?
The festival will once again be held at the Australian Technology Park in Eveleigh. It is only a few minutes walk from Redfern train station. For more details about the venue and how to get there check the Venue page or the ATP website.
When is it?
Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th September 2011. Doors open at approximately 10am, and the Festival will conclude at 6pm.
How do I get tickets?
There are two ways to get a ticket. You can buy online or at the door.
